   Honestly, the only way I'd care about a new GTA game would be if they got rid of all the crap that makes it a GTA game and just turned it into a peaceful walking simulator with vehicles.

     @psychicparrot42 I used to use the family-friendly GTA V mod to do exactly that, but maintaining the modded install Every Bastard Time GTA Online got an update that I would never play just got old. Shame, it's good fun for pootling around in all the vehicles. Great arcade plane mechanics.

     @psychicparrot42 Honestly, I'd cheerfully buy a sandbox version without the "role play as an utter creep" (fuck you, Trevor) elements.

     I'm a long way from either "all videogames must be wholesome" or "all videogames must cater to me personally", but IDK, there's a really fun simulator in there that I'd like to mess with more.

     @HauntedOwlbear That's the thing, isn't it? It was good fun just touring around in different vehicles, but I really don't like the rest of the game or the story or the whole 'gta' thing. They have some really talented people making something really ugly and negative that could so easily be turned into a positive.
