   I just found out that #mastodon does not support moving toots. Noooooo! I'm losing 13k toots then because of the instance shutdown. Noooo!

   I hope I can at some point import my exported toots. ?

     @szakib @musicmatze That won't help. People's archives are in the GB range, I just don't see how we could accept multi-GB uploads.

     Ah. Found issue 981 from 2017. Seems there is little progress in that regard.

     I'll just hope for the best.

     @Gargron @musicmatze Provided that everybody has the upload/download bandwidth, what is hard about this? (Honest question, I am interested in the technical reason.)
