This is a continuation of the disability fundraiser drive that I have been running for the past year or so in order to get financial assistance to get through a disability crisis I am currently ongoing.
I had to resign from my former job due to a chronic disability that directly affected my ability to work, and after I used up all of my disability and PTO pay. I am currently on long-term disability payments off my job insurance, and I am applying for federal disability benefits (currently under review).
The benefit payments I receive are enough to cover the essential needs like rent and utilities, but they aren't enough to cover other vital bills and needs such as my insurance premium that I use for my medical benefits, purchasing food for myself, and other minor but important bills that come due. Other than my disability payments, I have no other form of income.
On top of that, I also have defaulted Federal student loans that are now due for repayment since the COVID payment pause was lifted; although I am currently filing for that debt to be discharged due to my disability or handled through a low-income repayment program.
Until my personal doctor can clear me to return to finding active work, I am unable to seek reemployment, so I am totally dependent on my disability and the reliance of kind and generous people to make things work. There is no obligation for you to make any donations, and I will never pressure you to do so; I simply rely on your understanding and generosity to help me.
As always, thank you for listening, for sharing, and for contributing if you so desire.
