It involves two soviet guys (one hard worker and another is thief migrant) accidentally teleporting lightyears away to another planet and meet aliens who are basically just humans with weird and dystopic society as well as everyone is a telepath and they just verbally communicate with just two words (or grunts rather), but can easily learn alien languages through telepathy.

>They are telepathic; the only spoken words normally used in their culture are "ku" (koo) and "kyu" (kyoo), the former stands for everything good, the latter being a swear word that stands for every bad thing. However, the Plukanians are able to quickly adapt to speaking and understanding Russian and Georgian.

It's a great scifi movie, aesthetically it always reminded me of Dune 2 (dos game), as a lot of it takes place in a desert, in space (or moon) and in industrial-looking facilities/craft. People also compare it to mad max.

  Kin-dza-dza! (Russian: Кин-дза-дза!) is a 1986 Soviet film released by the Mosfilm studio and directed by Georgiy Daneliya, with a story by Georgiy Daneliya and Revaz Gabriadze. It is a dystopian science-fiction black comedy, in which two male humans from Earth accidentally travel through space, meeting two aliens from the Kin-dza-dza star system and their post-apocalyptic world. Plot The story begins in 1980s Moscow. Vladimir Mashkov, aka Uncle Vova, a generic but gruff construction foreman, is relaxing at home after a stressful day at work. His wife asks him to buy some groceries, so Vova goes out to the nearest store. Standing right in the city centre on Kalinin Prospekt (now New Arbat Avenue), is a barefoot man, dressed in a tattered coat, who appeals to passersby with a strange request: "Tell me the number of your planet in the Tentura? Or at least the number of your galaxy in the spiral?". Uncle Vova and a young Georgian student with a violin (The Violinist) stop and talk to the strange man.   @lanodan @coolboymew @romin i'm really not much into movies or shows, it's just one of the things i did see as a kid. Plus I am on earth, or some sort of holographic earth where finland does indeed exist but the rest of the world does not, and not on Pluke (or wherever in tentura) so i'm less aligned with US/SPC timezones...
