A word of hard-earned advice to anyone putting together an archive of their old posts and essays stretching back into the college years: don’t do it. It’s all cringe.
Google moght have done archivists dirty by letting their usenet archive rot, but they did the rest of hs a blessed favor; we can remember, hazily, that we had REALLY INTERESTING INSIGHTS. It’s best that way.

@beep yeah, that’s kind of where I’m settling: the completionist in me insists that everything be CAPTURED AND STORED but only a small slice of it will be shown in listings, etc…

@eaton All social media posts should die after six months. If you want to archive your own posts, you can, but that’s it.
