@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @TURBORETARD9000 @sjw @p @jeffcliff I don't know anything specific to the EE job market, but here's what comes to mind in general:
Apply to masters/phd programs. Having no bachelor's degree will make your application nonstandard for sure, but if you apply to enough schools and maybe talk to some profs personally, I'd think you have a chance given what CMD said and what I see upthread.
Also apply for grants / fellowships so that you don't have to pay tuition. I'm not sure what's standard for the field - since EE is actually useful, fellowships should exist, but they may come from the govt or from individual school departments.
Academia is shit in many ways, but you do get access to lab resources and you aren't locked in to a phd because you usually have the option to "master out" in 1 or 2 years. Getting a masters in 1 or 2 years (basically just passing an exam or doing a small project) seems better than spending 4 years in a bachelor's program.
Alternatively, as CMD just mentioned, if you know anyone in the relevant industry who is willing to hire you to do any kind of work, that would probably be a better option. There must be ways to gain these connections, too, but I don't know enough about the industry to say.

@TURBORETARD9000 @jeffcliff @p @sjw Oh, this is an annoying case.
20 years ago I'd've been screaming at you to go to university. Today, there's less pressure to get that flavor of formal education - although you *do* need a portfolio.
cc @ai This is someone who should have no problem dancing through the entire EE curriculum at a normal state university. He's being left to rot in retail. What can be done to solve this?

@TURBORETARD9000 @jeffcliff @p @sjw I'm going to go ahead and just ask outright if you have your EE degree yet.
The answer here seems like it should be "yes," but on the off chance that you don't there's a good chunk of places that I want to throw you at.

@jeffcliff @p @sjw Last stopping point:
