     @tintvrtkovic (I could in all seriousness talk for like an hour about how his problems with Siphon Life were a skill issue, and he misunderstood how game balance was supposed to work with the new rev of warlock abilities, and in fact the class was still OP after that change)

     I can't look away. This is an actual adult — an educated person, with ostensibly useful skills that might be socially valuable if they were allowed to apply them productively — who appears to believe that the sum total of philosophical traditions in the global canon are:

     - EA
     - libertarianism

     - public health advocacy
     - blockchain advocacy
     - solarpunk

     We joke about former-"gifted kids"-turned-burnouts, usually in a melancholic way, as if some potential was lost. But perhaps it is for the best. If we did not run into the brick wall of the reality of adulthood and our own fallibility, and instead had people blowing smoke up our asses about how smart and special we are for our *entire* lives, we might get something more like… this…
