@progo @CSB making invisible micro movements with your hand does not translate to the screen well. You can't make someone clicking a mouse dramatic.
@CSB Apple's hand gesture idea is right for IRL and for fiction. Change my mind. :^)
@CSB realism fail, then. :^b
It’s #2, and holographic floating display is transparent:
@CSB so is this Doctor Who scene like #1 or #2?
@CSB you miss my point.
1) Good AR hand gesture UI: Apple headset demo had users making gestures with their hand just over their thigh, while resting on a seat.
2) Bad AR hand gesture UI: almost any Hollywood production in the last 20 years. Everything from Minority Report to Picard. Poking hard at empty space at chalkboard height, that doesn't push back.
Also, everywhere including your screenshot: image should be opaque, or at least more opaque than that.
@progo yez, gesturing
@CSB or is he gesturing near his body like last year's demo of Apple's AR headset?
@CSB great. Now he's going to have tennis elbow.
