   Yesterday catching up on notes in Obsidian I pulled in a transcript of a talk and finally used @TfTHacker ’s Cornell Notes to add quick annotations.

   I used it on a multi-column interface with 3 columns and the left panel open, so things are a little narrow, but yet it still worked well.

     @vanderwal are you using side-notes? (stowe boyd has gone all-in on them) and i want to have side-notes on both sides 🙂

     @band Using side notes on both sides (if side doesn’t have importance) could give space with alternating paragraphs so not getting overlapping notes in the margins.

     @vanderwal your practices are more purposeful and thought out than mine (👏). i am just focusing on wiki-links and some kind of marginalia-type annotation, which may be Cornell- or Tufte-types. (some of what i used to do with paper and pencil just seems so hard in the digital realms)

     @vanderwal this digital garden sorting out is an important aspect that i do not have any answer to (simple or hard). since you mentioned Massive Wiki, one current issue is Obsidian => Massive Wiki rendering of side- or end-notes. /cc @peterkaminski, @TfTHacker

     @band Then there is sorting out a digital garden, which may be semi-collaborative with something like Massive Wiki.
