     yeah that's super annoying. I always rename the files from "[KAIArse] Snobbies Vengeance - S01E01 - Extreme Shortsightedness - [E8427D81].mkv" to "s01e01.mkv" before converting :Sheew:

     that sounds extremely painful even without angular brackets

     Though more often than that I use GUI file manager and just open embedded terminal or use "Open terminal here" button
