   @smeg I know that during the pandemic era it's a new trend that adults only weddings take place. I know a few people that did that.

   It is kind of petty to me though as I feel children play a part in weddings overall.

     A family member is planning an "adult only" wedding. I know this is the current trendy thing and I understand the desire to not have screaming babies in your ceremony. But I can't stomach the idea of telling my kid that he's unwelcome and leave him behind while we jet across the country, and that a family member doesn't want him there. He's a polite elementary aged kid, very mature, and very self aware. So we probably won't attend. Is that petty?
