   The book or the animation?

   If the book, I'd say: pay attention to little differences between members of the supporting cast, so that they don't blur together like they did for me.

   There are a lot of characters who have more than one name, some who have more than one identity, & I lost track of who was who, sometimes.

   I never lost track of the main couple, however. They are each fantastic and a joy to read about.
