     @ShredderFeeder pretty much yeah, and this always works for them in the comics - so I thought it'd be funny for them to hit a wall with someone who got a serious case of principles who wouldn't budge for any amount of money, no matter how ludicrous.

     @Polychrome I think what they're saying is that if you throw enough money at it, no-one is gonna say no.

     When I had realtors cold-calling me trying to get me to sell my house during the peak real-estate market, I would routinely tell them: "Sure thing, 6.5 million and I can be out by Friday"

     I have no interest in selling my house, but for enough money that I never have to work again, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
