   @helge @smallcircles FYI @mobilizon exists.

   But I don’t want a standalone events app, I want one fediverse app that can view the fediverse in different ways, including events (I think this is what @smallcircles is getting at?).

   Honestly I think Facebook is a good example of this; you had multiple ways of interacting with the network, such as posts (and replies) messages, groups, pages and events.

     I think @helge is referring here to the technical concept of event driven architecture. Where every activity sent by a client represents an "event", i.e. something that already happened. And allows great flexibility, where different components and services 'choreograph' in relatively independent fashion into 'social experiences' based on event streams they receive.
