@ArtBear I'm no fan of the others. I won't join Threads, Instagram, or the partisan platforms. I also think Bluesky will suffer from enshittification but those who went there have their heads in the sand about it - they didn't learn anything. But I think the main goal is to stop Xitter from getting the attention it still attracts. It needs to die. I'm flabbergasted that people are still on there.

The things that went wrong at Twitter happened because of algorithms, advertising not communicating priorities, and because as a corporation everything is controlled on essentially 1 single server, which can be sold.Expect creeping enshittification to eventually ensnare any of the alternative corporate platforms.
They are all currently single server centrally owned & operated systems.

Make that platform desolate and ignored. That's what I want.
