   @thomasfuchs my dad had one of those things. and the HDD had a weird quirk where you had to lift up the left side about an inch of the desk and drop it to get the drive head out of the parked location and work as expected

     @thomasfuchs I had one of those in my first job out of engineering school! At the time, it seemed like the coolest thing in the world.

     @thomasfuchs I would like to see the lunchbox form factor make a comeback for consumer portables. Pretty sure an executive order can make that happen.

     Also this machine is great, I have been ogling those for a short time.
