   The most recent version of @Mastodon for iOS (2023.14) crashes right away when you want to run it on iOS 16. We kind-of screwed up, a fix is already on its way: We sent it to the App Store-review-process some hours ago and expect it to be approved later today.

   We're really sorry for that (the mistake, not the fix!) and would like to apologize for any inconvenience. 🫣🫠

     In total this mistake lead to nearly 600.000 crashes. On a normal day, there are around 300 crashes. What I learned:

     It's okay to screw up. Everyone screws up from time to time. Shit happens. What matters more is how you deal with it.

     It's been approved. Give it a bit to show up in the App Store[1] and feel free to read the release notes[2] in the meantime.
