Absolutely intense flooding in Dominican Republic yesterday. Don't think I've seen huge chunks of asphalt get torn up & flipped by a flood like that before.
It's getting hard to keep track of the horrific #ClimateEmergency impacts. #Flooding

2. citizen film of intense flooding in Dominican Republic November 18 2023. Filmed from a balcony. Shows a torrent of water rushing down an urban street along with many cars, SUVs, and trucks. At one point a man climbs onto the roof of an SUV and is forced to jump mere moments before a logjam of other vehicles is pushed by the waters into his. At another point a woman can be seen in the back of a pickup truck standing up and holding on as the water sweeps the truck by. Another section shows a truck-sized section of asphalt get flipped over and swept away by the water.
