   What is the state of #danmei fandom on Mastodon? Asking for a friend, because I’m not personally into this specific topic and can’t therefore give informed answers to the questions directed at me 😅

     There is some danmei fandom here but I'd love to see much more.

     Side note: I registered the domain danmei.social with the intention of setting up another fediverse server on it (probably something other than mastodon) but I haven't done anything with it yet.

     If someone else wants to pick up that project and run with it, I would very happily share what we've learned so far from setting up blorbo.social.

     @tikli know what, I misread this as blorbo specifically so nvm it's small af probably like 20-200 ppl, it's just in here that I open the timeline to constant danmei, wider mastodon you'll only ever get techbros

     SHL has some presence here but I don't know if it's the book fandom or the TV drama fandom or both.

     @tikli@blorbo.social oh actually, let me be more specific. I think I've seen some Guardian/Zhen Hun presence here, scattered one/two posts about Sha Po Lang, and no more. I am mutuals with two others who read danmei not limited to mxtx/2ha, but they are not regular posters. Thousand Autumns/Qianqiu has a very weak presence here. I've not seen much else mentioned.
