     maybe it's just cause I'm watching the anime but it doesn't seem like it's as bad as they make it out to be, especially since almost all the characters with it are completely normal besides their impending death that never happens thanks to a nebulous and generic 'medical treatment'

     Discrimination against the infected leading to infected terrorist groups and also Rhodes Island being one of the few serious services offering quality oripathy care and research was the plot hook for the entire first arc and is how RI has justified having literally 2/3rds of the gacha roster. The pussying out about it seems to have come later as the story keeps getting added to as is the fashion with mobile gachashit.

     @synapsid @DrRyanSkelton Terrible writing, it could be used much more effectively. Supposedly it causes all sorts of problems (Kroos is supposed to be blind or nearly blind) and it's basically arthritis when it gets really bad but it's not really transmissible through contact and the benefits far outweigh whatever random condition you MIGHT get. Originium itself is far deadlier 'cause that shit is better than C4 apparently.

     @Xeraser @DrRyanSkelton @synapsid Who knows, it's not like the main image is useful anyways. You can't even tell what's there with all the visual distortion added in.
     
     I'm not even sure what's so important about this event, there is nothing tangible because the power source was a bunch of sarcophagi like you were in at the very start of the game, and is implied to have been a one-off, so all it proves is the sky is fake and there is stuff beyond it.
