I agree with things like abolition of the rideshare industry AND abolition of cars completely BUT with a caveat:
If your plan is just "rely on family and friends" or "rely on community services/existing public transit" - this is writing off disabled people, especially in areas with bad seasonal weather or long walking distances to transit, to being location-bound/homebound.
Your abolition plan *needs* to consider disabled nondrivers and disabled drivers who have no non-car infrastructure.
