   This encapsulates what is wrong with the #USA. Judge finds #Trump committed insurrection but allows him to stay on the ballot! If Trump wins the #Election2024, it is NOT because I did not vote for #Biden, but it’s because this fucking country allowed for Trump to run for office in the first place! Blame the law; blame lawyers; blame celebrity culture; blame toxic fandom; blame the political and economic systems in America; blame social media; blame the rich and powerful. Don’t blame me!

     @meester1012 this outcome, strange as it is, may actually be "legally" correct. The question of who can serve (constitution) is separated from (state executed) laws regarding how names appear on the ballot and elections are executed. In theory, it is the electoral college that ultimately is supposed to exclude a candidate unqualified to serve, maybe even congress, or perhaps the supreme court refusing to swear in.

     @meester1012 I did not say I liked it. I am simply explaining a particular chain of logic that explains this outcome. It also touches upon why corrupt and failed systems can never "reform" themselves.

     @gnutelephony See…That’s what I’m talking about right there…Such a rational view of the issue…The law sounds so fucking rational even when it is allowing an absolute psychopath to run for office and possibly tear down the law itself. Oh, the American legal system is a beautiful thing, isn’t it.
