   People say I'm overly cynical in general but I doubt that Sam Altman was fired because of plausible sexual abuse allegations, even with hard evidence.

   Not because I don't believe it. I absolutely do.

   I doubt it because this is tech.

   Rich abusive execs don't get summarily fired in tech. At best they get eased out with a massive golden parachute right into another cushy job. A board suddenly caring would be a nice change, but I have my doubts.

     You can also tell from the tone of the announcement. He lied to them about product or money and they have unambiguous receipts.
