     why doesn't she just advocate for parents to be involved and read the book with their kid and engage with their children rather than promoting a failed system like the public education system do it?
     
     pretty sure you can read whatever book you want to your own kid

     @dictatordave @wyliesau @Rollinator Dolly Parton has a thing where you can sign your kid up and get mailed a free book every month until they start school. I don't think it's available everywhere but it's been great.
