   Super annoyingly TikTok has shadow banned a video of mine and I can’t figure out why. I haven’t said any of the key words they use to shadow ban like death, dead, gun, kill etc. so it’s strange that after an hour my video’s sat on 0 views

     Ah, they’ve updated the server, there are sometimes glitches when that happens and your videos end up on hold or you end up with a restricted account for a couple of days. Phew

     @rbairwell there are another two between those two that aren’t showing up, once the numbers go back up to normal I’ll redo them

     @BethanyBlack I can see the cup of the carpenter one (with 4 views) and another 2 days ago with 548 views. If they are doing updates your video /may/ still be getting views, but the stats may just be stuck in a backlog getting back to your dashboard (problem with distributed computer systems: you need to deprioritise "non-essential" stuff if there is a problem to allow the main purpose of the system to continue working)
