@Fever @sjw nobody wants post-consumer plastic so it goes straight to the trash
cardboard stands a chance of being recycled, especially if it's commercial waste and baled up
metal does get recycled cause it's valuable

@teknomunk @sjw @Fever it's probably only viable for industry, where there's a bunch of the same type of material that's almost entirely clean
3 tons of white HDPE is not the same as a garbage truck full of random plastic shit people threw out thinking it was recycleable, including at least 7 piss bottles, an entire family sized lasagna in a plastic tray, 15 bags of dog poo, and a fake plant

I think there is limited recycling potential for plastics, because the plastics degrade and not many manufacturers can use the material as an input.
Probably would be better if it were incinerated.
