   @breitensteinart thanks for the ping :) @mitten it seems that your site is a staging site that is currently down, so it's hard to tell what the problem is. Where do you host, if I may ask?

     @mitten @breitensteinart ok, but micro.blog is also fine! @manton did a really good job there :)

     But if you want to re-try it with WordPress: It should also work on shared hosting, there are some hosts where it might not work or might require some tweaking, but it works fine on the shared hosting env of my choice!

     @pfefferle @breitensteinart Thank you for replying, and yes, that was just a testing site that no longer exists. As I couldn’t make it work (in my searching at the time, it seems that the ActivityPub plugin does not work for self-hosted blogs on shared servers), I bailed on using WP at all. I’ve shifted my site to Micro.blog. Maybe I’ll try WP again at some point in the future!
