     @Sqaaakoi i installed it and ran update-ca-certificates or something, the game doesn't use its own certificate store on windows
     i found some old mailing list post that claimed to open the IE control panel in proton to install a cert to the trust store... but i can't get to the ie control panel in the same proton environment im running my game from

     @ipg does the game use its own certificate store
     are you sure the certificate is installed in the proper places?

     for some reason, a game running under proton refuses to accept my MITM SSL certificate, despite the host PC and *some* other proton applications being fine with it
     linuxheads, any ideas?
