   Having now watched episode 1 & most of episode 2 of #StreetDanceOfChina season 6, I think I can guess what this season's twist is.

   So far, we've seen only 3 captains, & the number of towels they've each been given is significantly fewer than previous seasons.

   We also know that some veterans of previous seasons have been invited back, but we haven't seen them in the first 2 episodes...

     I reckon there will be at least one more captain added to the roster this season, and the additional captain will lead a team of invited SDOC veterans as competitors.

     I Want to Believe that the additional captain will be Yibo, and they're doing it this way to fit around his filming schedule. 🤡

     But actually I reckon there's not much likelihood of it being Yibo, with the way his film career is taking off.

     So: at least 1 more captain, invited veterans competing, maybe even some of the veterans joining the teams of the 3 current captains?

     Some of the new international dancers this season are so amazing.

     Candyman, Dedson, Salah, Nene (a house dancer on SDOC! finally!!), Neguin, Danzel.

     And Hitesh, fuck yes, finally gets to represent for himself instead of just having his moves swiped uncredited by Mr Three.

     (okay that's probably a bit uncharitable towards Mr Three, who is a great dancer and creative enough in his own right. And there's juuust enough doubt about the story that I want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

     Still, I'd like to be a fly on the wall when Mr Three & Hitesh meet for the first time.)

     I think it's good so far! Better than season 5, with its under-used captains and the awkward way they tried to incorporate the veterans.

     Both the 2 new captains (Jay Park, Ding) seem to have some strong choreography skills of their own, which I haven't seen before.
