     @maya_b Today may be a shifting day in that regard. Without Braverman and the return of the largest One Nation Tory ever i think they're gonna be making a play for the center while Labour has to try to fix their leaks on the left.

     @maya_b Yes, i mean Labour's got some fires to put out over Palestine so plenty of issues for them.

     At the very least if this is the Tories deciding which seats they need to hold in the events of a huge wipe out, One Nation or ERG, then they're choosing the ones with actual competent politicians that can bring them back to life again.

     @siege maybe in the run-up to the next election as a Hail Mary.

     Should they lose the next general election, the One Nation gang will be right there for the Tory leadership campaign. And never underestimate the only 85k paid Tory members to do something weird. Truss first, then had to be out manoeuvred by the party to get Sunak as the membership weren’t read to vote for “the brown one” (Sunak)

     Though who knows Labour as may yet snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
