   Ullr is not an important god in the late written sources from West Scandinavia. But place names around lakes Mälaren and Hjälmaren show that he was one of the main divine powers in the more easterly land of the Swedes. These are the remnants of a drained lake named Ullavisjön, Lake of Ullr's Shrine.

But why don't we learn about this guy in school if he was so important? 🤔 Well, if he was just important in Sweden, I guess I understand, we don't really care much about anything outside our own borders, so...

     @forteller @mrundkvist Hadde vel kanskje ikke hørt om Ull jeg heller, hadde han ikke vært guden for bueskyting. Bueskyting burde selvsagt vært obligatorisk fag i skolen. Kan gjerne erstatte fotball og andre meningsløse aktiviteter i gymtimene.
