     Yes. The f150 is a bitch. If you do any serious construction work it simply isn’t strong enough.
     
     An F150 can’t even pull enough wood to build an average sized deck

     Tbh the f150 (or other starter) trucks won’t even be helpful in a situation where you need to pull something.
     
     And as daily drivers they are super inefficient

     Well, the old ones were built for work. The new ones are just marketing and built to sell.
     
     Look at the specs. Most of the new ones are made with aluminum and have major "crumple" zones made of plastic.
     
     The old ones were made of actual metal.
