   Yes, opt-in full text search is an option since 4.2.0 👍

   However, your server needs to have ElasticSearch activated for the full text search to work. Ask your server admin about this if you're not sure.

     @mx Thank you. I was checking periodically since I saw the news via the @feditips account, so am going to implement as soon as I can. Will be interesting to see what effect it has in terms of being found, and finding others.

     @blag I believe so! According to the docs, it's been an option since v4.2.0, which this instance successfully skipped - https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/releases/tag/v4.2.0

     Instance was down for some time earlier today. No official announcement yet, but I'm glad to find out it's been updated to v4.2.1 yay
