@Kerosene With skates, you need to start small, have elbow and knee protection and a helmet, plus the longer the wheel section is, the more stability you have.
Golden bat boy has skates of acceptable length.
Maybe start off with just one skate and try skating with one leg and then walking on the other and once you've got the hang of that, move up to skating very slowly with both skates?
I find skating difficult, but achievable - for some reason ice-skating is easier, maybe try that first? (with a helmet as ice is good at cracking skulls).

Duuuude, inline skates are so dope. Why couldn't they permanently stay as the cool kids (tm) thing? Also I just remembered I have a pair of skates in my closet that have been sitting there for years without being used. I never learned how to take a single step without breaking my skull.
