   @MariaTheMartian Newly arrived in the ASD space with an initial diagnosis by my Dr & MH Practitioner, just starting the referral process for a diagnostic assessment .

     Late diagnosed autistic friends,
     I am thinking of you all today and sending hugs (if you want a hug) There's a lot of big feelings around late diagnosis. It was an emotional roller coaster for me and a period of grieving that still lingers on a bit and it's been almost 5 years. Just know that you are not alone and if you have questions or need to talk the #ActuallyAutistic community is active in the fedi and quite lovely.
