   @bigzaphod they make a MacGyver joke in the opening episode of SG-1 but nobody recognizes Richard Dean Anderson. Therefore, my hypothesis is that in the SG-1 universe, MacGyver is played by Kurt Russell

     It’s a bit confusing whenever SG-1 and Atlantis reuse actors for different characters a season or two apart.
