   remember the guy who stopped paying his mortgage after 2008 and the banks didn't know who owned the mortgages and by the time they figured it out he legally didn't have to pay anymore so he got his house for nearly free?

     @zop there's some statute of limitations thing with the foreclosure due to nonpayment with mortgages IIRC. It was a brilliant gamble.
