I don’t condemn Hamas because I want to “win points” with anyone. I condemn them because they are harmful to Palestinian liberation. I condemn them because I worry we’re not thinking about what happens after a revolution when you cede power to fascists just because you both share a common enemy.

Hamas is illegitimate.

sxpert (sxpert@mastodon.sxpert.org)'s status on Friday, 03-Nov-2023 18:50:55 JST sxpert @VPS_Reports right now, the ones talking and acting like nazis are the israelis.
Hamas is the legit political force in gaza, that has an armed resistance branch, and will continue reinforcing itself as long as the israelis keep oppressing the palestinian people.
There’s no escaping it. Israel will have to be disbanded back to the 1947 borders, and the zionist criminals will have to be tried for their 75 years long streak of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide planning and execution. -

It’s not just morally reprehensible to defend Hamas just because you rightfully oppose Israel. It’s tactical suicide for any human rights minded revolution against a colonizing power. You have to kill the colonizer in your head, too.

Wherz Demloots (makberberovic@kolektiva.social)'s status on Saturday, 04-Nov-2023 03:14:25 JST Wherz Demloots @sxpert Why are they they only force fighting against the oppressor? Could it be that they and israel killed everyone that could have fought the oppressor in a way that doesn't benefit the oppressor?
They're not doing their bidding; they're doing what's natural, and Israel make sure things remain that way.
I would also love for the USA to decide its colonial project is a failure and send all Israelis to the US and give them an area a fifth the size of Colorado (Israel is that big).

I mean it’s nice and all to criticize them. But they’re the only force that actually fights against the oppressor.
The PA appears to be much more collaborating with the oppressors.
The fact that hamas was created by the mossad doesn’t mean they continue to do it’s bidding.
The more hamas fighters get killed by israel, the more recruits they get.
Go figure. If they weren’t seen as somehow legitimate, this wouldn’t happen.
That’s what you get when you act like nazis and practise genocide… the idea of a resistance force that you have no chance of destroying, whatever amount of bombs, war crimes and crimes against humanity you apply.
Israel must be disbanded, it’s the only solution to the problem -
