   The house across the street from me is a PERFECT demonstration of why the newer driveway style with the big separated concrete pads sucks.

   Who the heck wants to have to weed-whack their driveway?

   People really need to think before coming up with such horrid ideas.

     @LeoBurr @zorinlynx yeah I suspect that's correct. the driveway won't have as good of a foundation under it as the roads do. Probably needs a layer of sand and then gravel before you pour the concrete. The slabs make it cheap and easy.
     
     also, you can always just spray the weeds...

     @zorinlynx I think they do it like that because the ground is such mush in lots of Florida that larger slabs might crack more. Our driveway in Louisiana went to shit after a few years because it was a large slab that just broke up.

     RoundUp spray is 2% glyphosate in a 5L jug, meaning the entire container has ~100 grams of glyphosate. I'm ~72kg, so I'd need to consume or marinate myself in 360 grams of pure glyphosate for a long time until my body absorbs it all.
     
     That's like 18 liters. So at normal concentration for application I'd have to drink 18 liters of it to reach the LD50...
     
     The real issue is over-application -- people buying the concentrates and not diluting it correctly.

     @feld @LeoBurr @zorinlynx Probably want to wear gloves at the very very least using Glyphosate.
