      I showed Mumble and XMPP to my normietard Tiktok-pilled friends, they could totally use them without trouble because it's easier than setting up a fucking Minecraft server which they do every now and then, the problem is that no one gives a shit.

      The fuck are you smoking, XMPP with OMEMO works fine and almost never gives issues with encryption. A lot of clients suck but Gajim, Psi+ and Conversations work fine.

Authors of XEP-0373 (OpenPGP for XMPP) were toying with this idea potentially using a GPG extension to distribute subkeys to room members.
