   @nyoom the right is more welcoming to people with flaws but just as long as it's not any flaw they dislike
   
   The left want everyone to be a moral saint, if you have a small flaw you are suddenly the worst

     @sun_eater @nyoom my ex posted something the other day about how left unity isn't possible because essentially like "there are still ableist/transphobic/evil leftists who make other people feel excluded" but honestly the real problem is that the left isn't really united by a primary positive purpose and unity isn't something that the left values in anything other than name, because if unity was a value that kinda requires setting aside differences which basically no one is willing to do because the only purpose many leftists have is to get into increasingly niche moral arguments about random bullshit on the internet
