   @emilygorcenski and go where? You think the US, UK and other countries aren't going to roll out the same legislation, or even more restrictive laws?

   The root cause are ignorant and corrupt politicians and bureaucrats, along with a media that promotes fear over understanding. Those problems aren't isolated to the EU.

     @emilygorcenski honestly even if you have a voice on paper this legislation will get passed regardless of how you vote.

     They keep talking the big talk about wanting the top technologists, but as soon as you bring up the lack of competitive salaries, or streamlining immigration you get some bullshit answer about better "quality of life".
