   @emilygorcenski Is storing the data on someone else's server really necessary? If there isn't an app that stores the data locally, I'd bet you could accomplish pretty much everything with a spreadsheet. I'm sure the apps are very convenient, but not at the expense of privacy.

     @emilygorcenski And often reset to the default when the phone's OS is updated. Or new sneaky features are enabled.

     @emilygorcenski I don't know what version of iOS you're using, but turning on Advanced Data Protection in iCloud settings will encrypt more of the data stored in iCloud so only authorized devices on the account can decrypt it.
