     you may either charge, or use wired headphones. I am sure that this is Apple's way of encouraging you to buy wireless headphones.

     @animeirl I have a headphone adapter with a power passthrough, I have had glitches in IOS using it though (never on android) pretty sure it's just buggy IOS but I wondered if an apple adapter would just werk.

     most apple cables are a rip off regardless so even if they had one you'd be better off getting something else

     @Moon @animeirl an entry lvl studio quality pair of headphones is about the same price ($150-200) and much better quality, comfort and longevity.
