   @Hoss I legitimately do not understand why people hate cyclists so much. I'd say it's gotta be a meme, like when they hate the French, but these are probably the same cocksuckers going 90 in the 55, so they probably just hate anyone that prevents them from going 35 over.

     @Big_Richard @grey @Hoss @idiot This + selectively using the sidewalk when it's advantageous. I almost flattened some people because they were hauling ass on the sidewalk, obscured by tall hedges, going faster than the surrounding car traffic while I was trying to enter a parking lot.

     @idiot @Hoss people in cities hate cyclists because we are de facto obligated to treat them like a pedestrian and a delicate flower, however they feel no obligation of their own to follow any kind of traffic laws. stop signs, turn signals, stop lights are "for the cars" and don't count to them. so you have an unpredictable entitled asshole riding around, and if anything happens to him it's your fault.
