   @lazycouchpotato I have not tried a different one. @valere only included GNU/Linux instructions on dns.hostux.net so I wasn't sure if perhaps his in particular had something different. I did try both on my home wi-fi and on cellular 4G.

     Are you able to check with a different DNS service? NextDNS for example has a free plan.

     It's supposed to be simple – just enter the DNS and it works.

     Private DNS doesn't work on certain WiFi networks – Target's WiFi for example. I have to manually turn off Private DNS then.

     Has anyone been successful setting up their #Samsung #Android phone to use a private #DNS like that provided by dns.hostux.net? I can set my firefox app to, but the setting for the whole device just gives me errors and then nothing can access the internet. #Hostux #Galaxy A51 #foss4g @valere
