     @MercurialBlack greta thunberg made a tweet supporting palestinians and there was a stuffed toy octopus in the background of the photo. some american jews jumped on this to make a connection between that octopus and anti-semitic octopus symbolism, a huge stretch, it got all the way to the head guy in the IDF saying that supporting Greta Thunberg is equivalent to wanting to genocide Jews. It is batshit insane. Some people are now posting octopuses to make fun of this, or as an actual anti-Semitic dog whistle.

     @Moon @MercurialBlack apparently they say it's based off this poster, but the kraken enveloping a globe/area is such an iconic imagery for dominion it's extremely pointless as it is used by many factions throughout history of many opposing sides, i also put in other examples for it.
