     Sadly, this is true:

     Our next door neighbour recently hosted a man who has been traveliing around lecturing about the World Economic Forum's plan for 'lockable cities.' They're here, too.

     @Mary625 @msquebanh we have been looking for a place to move for a few years now, and we were seriously considering Canada. Then we started paying more attention to the politics and national news up there, and saw the creeping trumpism/fascism problem showing that it had roots there, too. This made us think twice about uprooting everyone and possibly winding up... with a similar problem AFTER moving.

     I've been reading that. I follow a few of you great Canadian citizens and that seems to be the consensus, Canada is Americainging. I'm sorry. I wish I could stop it but I can't even stop it here. ☹️

     @milkman76 @Mary625 OMFG. This is a very poor decision. That much for war funding but not enough to give their citizens universal health care & fund schools & other important public services better? It's not lack of funds. It's lack of priorities that help their citizens.

     How will this affect the US energy budget? I don't know enough about how US deals with their budgets.

     @Mary625 @msquebanh Im a bit afraid... and extremely sad. I just can't fathom taking either the side of the occupier, or the "safe" narrative that says Palestinian guerilla warfare against an occupier is just "terrorism".

     On top of all of this, there is the propaganda! The propaganda is SO bad lately that you have to do your damn research before offering opinions! What about 70 years of settler violence, supported by the Israeli state, ON TOP of military violence??

     We sell white phosphorous to the Israelis and others, with the stipulation "only use it for signalling and smoke screens". 😠
