   @PNS @Vox I'll probably always run a social site. I like knowing that I can say what I want and nobody can stop me but myself. I try to extend that same benefit to others as well.

   And soon I'll have the stream working and nobody will be able to stop me from saying whatever I want about chickens into the microphone.

   Once I've shot myself in the foot enough times I will become immune to the bullets and be truly unstoppable.

     What if I told you half the shit on NA was posted weeks before by US users?

     What if I told you their participation was vampiric at best?

     I made the ludicrous suggestion last week that should Matt oblige, this community would persist beyond any exit strategy the boys might have?

     Which is why I view NA and podcasting writ large as a ponzi scheme.

     Here's the MO: Operate, experience dissent, burn the dissenters and seek new suckers.

     It's once or twice removed from an actual Ponzi scheme, but the vibe isn't dissimilar.

     Ok, I'll bite...

     First, I totally understand why you've taken this position, and I think you, personally, deserve a public apology. But I don't think throwing out the baby with the bath water is the right answer. Here's why: m5m KILLS PEOPLE. They do it on purpose and without remorse. Independent media in general, and podcasting specifically, is the single most progressive movement I've ever seen that took power from the elite and put it in the hands of the people.
