   several days ago somebody uploaded CSAM twice to desu.si and self reported in an attempt to get me in shit with the feds
   
   both of the IPs responsible come from OVH:
   162.19.234.126
   162.19.234.221
   
   both of them were reported to NCMEC and OVH
   
   my question to you is can you imagine disliking someone so much you commit a felony in your pursuit of trying to "own" them

     that's a shame. Will you be able to block VPN IP ranges for uploading, but not downloading? If that's practical it'd be nice, because I don't want my friends to ask me why the link isn't loading or whatever when they try to download something I uploaded. I also learned that my VPS' IP is registered under some Lithuanian ISP somewhere, thus soulseek thinking I'm in Lithuania, so I wonder if there are other VPS services that have IPs that don't appear to be VPS/VPN. Even Google, which is usually tismy with VPNs, doesn't stop me from searching with a captcha like it did on torguard.

     @burner nothing is blocked from downloading. some people who tried to fetch illegal materials have had their IPs added to a permanent redirect to the FBI website, otherwise it's only blocks from uploading

     @burner I will be, yeah. people on TOR are already prevented from it but it looks like I will have to add some more. unfortunately M247, the company that leases hardware to VPNs like Mullvad, etc are also at fault for abuses
